Citizens University Committee

Citizens University Committee (CUC) Overview

The Citizens University Committee (CUC) was founded in 1948 by Riverside community leaders with the purpose of bringing a University of California campus to Riverside. Over the past 70 years, the CUC has played a key role in advocating on behalf of the campus, and providing a town-gown connection between UCR and the community. Citizens University Committee is one of the best ways for you to tap into UCR’s vibrant energy! We host dynamic breakfast meetings which feature the latest cutting-edge research and ideas UCR has to offer. The CUC provides a unique and fun connection between the campus and the community. Our breakfasts often feature elected officials, campus and community updates, and a great opportunity to network and meet new people.

CUC Scholarship Fund

CUC also encourages members and supporters to make a charitable contribution to the CUC Scholarship Fund. An education changes everything. As part of your charitable donations, you can support the education of students at America’s most transformational public university.

Financial gifts of every size have great impact at UC Riverside, enhancing the student experience and providing funding where it’s needed most on campus. A recurring donation, either monthly or annually, is a simple way to increase the impact of your donations.
